Pellet Help

Pellet keeps your notes as ordinary files in a folder you choose. There’s no account, nothing to sign up for, and it works with the wifi off.

No jargon, and nothing assumed about what you already know.

If you’ve never opened Pellet before, do these in order and you’ll know enough to be useful:

  1. Install Pellet — where to get it
  2. Choose your vault — the folder your notes live in
  3. Find your way around — what all the panes are
  4. Write your first note — and what markdown actually means
  5. Link notes together — the bit that makes it more than a pile of files
